day 4
in which the author retreats from her dark and freezing house to a hotel.
yep, still no power. it’s late afternoon, and we are in a hotel, because neither of us can go another night sleeping in the freezing house. and if I go to my new job tomorrow without a shower or a full night’s sleep…well, that would be very bad.
we’re going to check on the cats after we’ve both had showers, then grab some dinner, then just plain veg out.
I continue to keep my fingers crossed that we’ll have power soon. We did see some folks working on the lines on Legion, so that’s hopeful…..
