forcing myself to be social in terrible hot weather.
I am feeling tired and sad and surly, but managing to be relatively sociable anyway. (oh, and my cellphone battery died!) blah blah blah. goddamn fscking hot weather. trying to decide whether to stay or go. ‘crusty’ is telling her lake-cleaning story, which is pretty cool. andrew is updating his browser.

8:30, and I’m a little better. (since you asked, or not: I’m only drinking soda. I just don’t drink alcohol very often.)
somehow, taking pictures helps. I wonder if Shelley find that so as well. I miss Shelley.
but I think I’m going to head out in a minute anyway, so as to head up the hill while it’s still light out. (hey, I wonder if avocados are still on sale at Safeway…)
