no more!

I typed in almost 10 pages tonight, and I have 20-some handwritten pages yet to transcribe (probably works out to another 8-12 pages in double-spaced 12 point times new roman). whew. I really shouldn’t have put it off so long.

I typed in almost 10 pages tonight, and I have 20-some handwritten pages yet to transcribe (probably works out to another 8-12 pages in double-spaced 12 point times new roman). whew. I really shouldn’t have put it off so long.

but as I said before, it feels damn good to be writing. as I’m typing it in, I’m not really doing any editing yet, but I’m starting to see where I want to edit, where I want to add new scenes.

I haven’t had a writing experience like this in a long time, because I’m exploring plot, characters, and settings that are relatively new to me — although some of them have been hanging out in my head for a very long time. (”the tall guy”, anyone?) I’m jumping back and forth over the timeline of this section as I get bits of inspiration, images, flashes of ideas.

in typing it up, I’m hoping to be able to see the connections, and the disconnections, the bits that don’t make sense, as well. so far, that’s been the case.

it’s just that my typing can’t keep up. (again, a tablet might be a nice thing. or not…hard to say.)
