I’m an idiot. (hit blogger button instead of post & publish – those thoughts are lost to the ages.)
which is to say, I
which is to say, I got 11+ hours of sleep last night, and that was just lovely.
I really wanted to do one more submission to the template contest, but it was not to be. I do still have this great idea, which maybe I’ll use for something else someday. who knows! but I did manage to submit 2 solid, passable templates, both of which work in the browsers I have to test with and validate as html 4.01. and it was good for me to work on something like that – a design with incredibly strict parameters (including my own rule that they validate) and a very short timeline.
and today was a solid productive day, too. I’m working on my personal development plan. god that makes me feel like a grownup. 🙂
- supervisory skills (because I have no idea what the hell I’m doing with an assistant)
- conflict management (because conflict is scary – see yesterday’s entry)
- project management (because there’s waaaaay too much to do – which is why I’m writing in my blog, right?)
- technical skills: PHP, database concepts, and XML (because I’m tired of being behind on the new stuff)
ah, lofty goals. tho I do hope I can get some of them done. wouldn’t that be something?
sleep is a really good
okay, I finished another blog
okay, I finished another blog template entry. that does make me feel better.

just finished an entry to
just finished an entry to the blogger template contest. it’s not super-duper, but I like it. nice & simple – clean, even.
I was about to say that I’m really getting to be a fan of Opera…except for what it does to this editing screen. I really ought to take a screen shot, because it’s quite hysterical – I have this tiny text box up in the corner, with a vast dark blueness all around it. or at least, it would be hysterical, except for the fact that it’s really annoying. 🙁
so Chad’s free domain finally
so Chad’s free domain finally came thru – now I just need to put stuff on it. 🙂
and did I say that
and did I say that all of these services have different ways to remind me of my password(s), when (not if!) I forget them? and that “send me my password, because I’m a blithering idiot” isn’t working too great, because mail.com‘s alleged upgrade has completely screwed up my ability to send & receive mail?
