Did that all sound like nonsense? Here’s the short version: those files can be used with a program or site called an aggregator to notify you when I’ve written something or when somebody’s commented on something. Actually, now all the browsers have them built in (except Chrome, oddly enough), so if you just click, it’ll tell you what to do.
