Mom found this about 6-12 months ago while cleaning out the basement and mailed it up. I stuck it in a box of keepsakes and promptly forgot about it, then remembered again last week. I couldn’t wait until June (after waiting 20 years!), so I opened and documented it on May 31.
I don’t know exactly what prompted me to make a time capsule in June of 1988, but it seems like the sort of thing I would have done at the time. I was 13 years old and had just graduated from junior high school (ie, finished 8th grade).
The contents are weird and mysterious even to me. Enjoy!
