something I noticed: 2498 people participated in the democratic caucus. 2500 people?! and this is supposed to mean something to all the rest of us? jeez. they’ll probably get that many people in THURSTON COUNTY at the caucuses. oy.(tags: politics)

It was more like 250,000, but overall that’s about a 10+ percent turnout for the entire state, which is still pretty horrible when you compare it to traditional primary turnouts of 40+ percent.
In Washington, we’ll be lucky if we approach 6 percent turnout again.
