notes on biking
biking = awake; not biking = really sleepy
This week I had a controlled experiment. Tuesday and Thursday were rainy both morning & evening; Wednesday was clear in the morning, rainy in the afternoon; and today was clear both directions.
So…Wednesday and today? I was awake; tired, yes, but not totally wiped out. Tuesday I fell asleep in the van, and Thursday was a sincere struggle against sleep as well.
Wednesday night I came home almost completely soaked, which was lame. And tonight my fingers almost froze, which also sucked. But damn I come home perky, and it’s unbearably exhilarating to fly down hill, and nearly as lovely to work uphill.
Yeah. Must acquire rain gear, and probably a brighter headlamp.
