emergency weblog; or: epersonae; or: elaine nelson

in which I write about stuff

how’s that for digital identity?

Categories: General

two nights ago I was in the middle of this rather odd dream, most of which I won’t repeat here.

but notably, I was with some people I didn’t know very well, and was thinking about prevaricating on some element of my (checkered) past. then I saw a computer monitor out of the corner of my eye, and on the screen was a weblog: the weblog of someone there. and on that weblog was an entry about me with links to things I’d written, and that other people had written about me, covering all sorts of topics (most of which I don’t think are anywhere on the Web, but I guess you never know). and I realized that I had to be absolutely truthful.

(oh, and the weblog looked like a slight modification of a default movable type template, with a white background, dark grey text, and bold orange links.)
