did I have a sign on my back that said, “ask me about my Handspring Visor“? 4 people (2 on the way up, 2 on the way back) asked me about my PDA yesterday. then again, I love babbling on about the damn thing.
okay, now there’s a weird thing – the rest of my page, with the exception of the last post, and the day/time of the post before that, are just gone.
sigh. haven’t written anything today. haven’t done much surfing either. but hey, that’s why they call it work.
hoping that the sun will last long enough for me to get in a walk….
yes, many, many meetings. but in the back of my mind, poetry. I am reading The Tale of Murasaki, which has lots of waka (am I remembering that correctly?). she uses the waka as a kind of barometer of her life. feeling really good this morning. relaxed and already hard at work! and I’m writing poetry again, which feels mentally nourishing.
“there is still one form of bigotry that is accepted in america – bigotry against the successful” just heard of the repub legislators say that on NPR. sheesh. as if. this is the country that invented fawning over celebrities. what a lame-ass excuse for giving a tax cut to the rich!
